The FFB 401 is an NFPA 1974 certified 8″ firefighter station/duty boot built for the demands of a full shift, whether you're on the rig or on your feet in the station house. High-shine, easy-care leather keeps you sharp for inspection, while an oblique-shaped steel toe protects without giving up all-day comfort, meeting ASTM standards for impact (I/75) and compression (C/75) protection.
Underneath, a full wraparound Goodyear welt and molded thermoplastic heel counter deliver support that holds up call after call, year after year, and a triple ridge shank with a steel puncture plate stands between your foot and whatever's on the ground. The Vibram® Technical Lug outsole, built with a fire-retardant NFPA compound, keeps your footing secure on wet, oily, or unpredictable surfaces.
