The FFB 305F is a dedicated wildland firefighting boot, engineered for the long hours on your feet that structural boots were never designed for. NFPA 1977 certified specifically for wildland fire suppression, it trades a steel toe and station-boot bulk for a plain round toe, reduced weight, and genuine breathability. Three things that matter more than almost anything else when you're hiking a fireline for a full shift.
Waterproof full-grain leather keeps moisture out without adding unnecessary weight, while a breathable, moisture-wicking Dri-Brelle® lining helps manage heat over long deployments. A full wraparound Goodyear welt and triple ridge shank deliver the same structural durability you'd expect from any Southwest Boot Company build, and a removable insole lets you swap in your own footbed for a personalized fit. The Vibram® 109 lug outsole, built with a fire-retardant NFPA compound, grips uneven, loose, and burned terrain the way a structural lug pattern simply can't.
